Paul I don't know if this product is available from any vendors that can ship to bocas. Por15 paints. They sell a mini kit so you don't have buy more than you need.

Paul Trammell here. I sail a Cartwright 40. It's a heavy full-keel cutter built in 1972. I've sailed her all over between Newfoundland and Panama, with a few seasons in The Bahamas. Currently, I am in Bocas del Toro, Panama. My next maintenance project is prepping and painting the steel mast step, which sits at a low point in the bilge, which is a problem because it is always wet. I plan to chip away and sand away the rust, then prime and paint with something serious and appropriate. Any suggestions?

Carl Damm here. I sail a classic Tartan 27 and a Compac 19 in south Florida. Fortunately I also get to sail alot of different boats on the East Coaxt and Caribbean as part of my job. But there is nothing like sailing your own boat. Chartering and sailing other people's boats makes financial sense, but I am one of the afflicted that has a love affair with thier boat.
