Description
Well-maintained Cape Dory 28 on Cayuga Lake. Will be launched for the sailing season within the next 10 days.
FRESHWATER boat, dry storage, shrink wrapped 6 months of the year. Edson wheel steering. Lines run back to the cockpit for easy single-handing (only genoa halyard at the mast). Original bronze portlights. Royal blue Awlgrip paint on topsides. Transom repainted in 2022, ready if you want to rename the boat. Antifouling with interlux products (new bottom paint in 2026). Anchor plate reinforced with 2 stainless steel backing plates (2022)
Sails and rigging:
- Mainsail: full batten, 2 reef points. Fair condition
- 3 furling genoas: 2 light 150/160% Genoas in good condition, 1 heavier reefable genoa in good condition
- 1 furling reefable jib with self-tacking jib boom (currently not installed)
- 1 light air symmetrical spinnakers in bag
- 1 heavy air symmetrical spinnaker with ATN sock
- Spinnaker pole
- Adjustable height spinnaker ring on mast
