Why are we selling?
This boat is being sold on the hard as-is and needs some minor repairs. We moved from Florida a few years ago and had the boat transported here last year. After moving to Maryland our interests turned to aviation and we can only afford one expensive hobby at a time. So the boat has to go. Don’t let the price fool you; this is not a derelict boat. We just need to sell it and the quicker the better; hence the price. We are motivated sellers; call if interested.

Condition
The interior pictures show the boat as it was when we purchased it. Since it is on the hard now we have pulled up the cushions and use a lot of the space for storage. The condition of the interior woodwork is essentially what is seen in the pictures. The cushions have more wear. We don’t have good pictures of the exterior right now because it is covered in snow. We will update this ad with exterior pictures as we get them.
Work needed to put it in the water
- The mast needs to be stepped and sails installed.
- We are part way through a replacement of the cutlass bearing, so the propeller and shaft have been removed. This replacement needs to be completed and the propeller/shaft reinstalled.
- The bob stay pad at the stem (attaching the bobstay to the hull) has been removed and needs to be reinstalled or replaced. It was removed to examine some surface rust.
- New house and starter batteries are needed.
- The rudder heel is showing some rust and may need to be serviced.
There are other minor things that need fixing but these five are the ones that should be done before the boat is launched.
